- THE Taino people and the colonizers (people from Spain) had a brutal war.

- The king of Spain was very happy to get control of Jamaica because he was able to use their resources.
- Since they had more resources they had to ship more items but made more money.
- The Colonizers used the Taino people as slaves then executed them.
