- The novel depicts a traditional farm which is owned by a drunk, Mr. Jones. After the humans go to bed, the animals get together in the barn and have a meeting, where Old Major, a boar, tells them he had a dream of the animals' rebellion against man. They wish for equality and self-determination. The main character is Mr. Jones, Old Major, Boxer, Snowball, Napoleon, Squealer and Mr. Pikington. Other animals on the Animal Farm is Clover, Mollie, Benjamin, Moses, Jessie, Bluebell and Pincher.
- CLIMAX
- The animals begin to read and write. They use the commandments of animalism to educate all the young animal. Food is plentiful while the farm run smoothly. However, when the pigs elevate themselves to become a leader, the struggle for power begins. Napoleon wins by having his dog chase Snowball of the farm.
- FALLING ACTION
- RESOLUTION
- Napoleon begins to blame Snowball, the pig he chased away for the incidents happening on the farm and the desctruction of the windmill. Using Snowball as a scapegoat, after that Napoleon begins to purge the farm and accusing other animal of conspiring with his old rival, and attacking them with dogs.
