- *groan* I feel so terrible! I'm all feverish and sweaty and these buboes are giving me terrible pain...
- I'll have to brave the weather and go for the doctor - she's taken a turn for the worse with her weakness... she wasn't even responding.
- I'm really sorry. But my patient in here is vomiting and getting chills now... she'll have to wait.
- Please come! I don't think she has long... she was losing motor control when I left her.
- Aldreda is a victim of the Bubonic Plaque- but we don't know that's what it is called. We call it the Black Death.
- Arlotto is worried. The weather is sever, but Aldrea needs help, now.
- ...but the doctor is already busy with another patient- who is in a more critical condition. Aldreda will have to wait.
- The doctor's patient, Leofric, is very low. His buboes have turned from red to purple and they are steadily turning black. The doctor has tried every cure to no avail. From fumigation to bloodletting, nothing has worked. Leofric was one of the thousands of lives lost to the Black Death.
