- First Day of School!
- The kids are laughing at me!
- What a loser!
- Hi! My name's Sarah.
- My name's Jimmy!
- Jimmy goes to his new school for his first day of school. Jimmy has just moved because of his father's job. Jimmy does not know anyone at this new school and is shy.
- Do you know where Mr. Brown's class is?
- Yes! It is 2 doors on the left.
- Jimmy drops his bag and his stuff and the kids start laughing at him. Jimmy feels very embarrassed and lots of remorse because they are laughing at him. Jimmy is to shy to say anything to the kids so he just thinks to himself.
- Mr. Brown
- I hate math class!
- A kind girl named Sarah helped Jimmy clean up his things. Sarah is the first person at the school to talk to him so far and seems very prominent. She is also the first to be nice to him.
- Hey Jimmy! See you at lunch!
- Mr. Brown
- Hi Sarah!
- Jimmy starts to befriend Sarah. He does this because she has been nice to him and she is the only person he really knows. The kids that were laughing at him walk away carelessly and were very insensitive towards Jimmy.
- Jimmy comes into Mr. Brown's classroom. Sarah was not in Jimmy's class and he did not make any friends. There was one girl that did not seem very happy to be there and seemed mean in general.
- Jimmy leaves Mr. Brown's class and sees Sarah. Jimmy and Sarah say hello to each other. Jimmy and Sarah will make their way to lunch.
