  • How Freud Sees Me
  • I got an F on my math test. I'm going to get in so much trouble! *cries and sucks thumb*
  • How Adler Sees Me
  • You both are so immature. Mom and Dad took it easy on you two. I had the most rules and punishments out of all of us.
  • How Bandura Sees Me
  • I don't know why you thought it was a good idea to eat my lunch. I know I saw you did it.  Do not try to deny it. I know what i saw.
  • I swear I did not touch your lunch.
  • Freud was very invested in the eight defense mechanisms. One defense mechanism that is very prominent is Regression. Regression is the retreat back to an infantile stage during stressful situations. A girl fails her math test and becomes very stressed that she is going to get in a lot of trouble. She starts to cry and sucks his thumb.

  • Alfred Adler was very interested in birth order and how that impacts a persons personality. The oldest child in the family believes that they are the most superior and that they are better than the other siblings because they were born first.

  • Ha Ha Ha, Your pink dress looks stupid on you! Your hair looks dumb in a bun like that! Ha Ha Ha!
  • Albert Bandura studied how behavior is influenced by interaction between peoples traits and social situations. He believes that the way we feel about a situation will affect our behavior. A girl is very angry about having to go to work. This anger will effect her mood and behavior towards her coworkers and customers.

  • I am so mad that I got the anger issue trait because now every little thing makes me mad and I can't help it.
  • Karen Horney was very interested in childhood anxiety and a child desire for love and security. A young girl gets very upset and nervous when her mother gives her to her friend. She screams and cries until her mom grabs her and gives her a hug.

  • Carl Rodgers believed that people are born good until they are impacted and introduced to the environment that inhibits growth. A girl would have been perfect in elementary school if the little boy would not have bullied her thought school.

  • Costa and McCrae have came up with the Big 5 Factors. These factors do a better job of telling story of personality. He believed that in adulthood, traits remain the same. This girl inherited a bad trait from her dad and she was hoping she wouldn't because she had a fifty fifty chance of not getting it.
