- one of the causes of the great depression was that there was an over production of consumer goods.
- another cause of the great depression was the market crash in 1929.
- there was a large drought in the South which led to the dust bowl.
- which means a lot of farmers had to learn dry land farming, and eventually leave their homes.
- as a way to stop the great depression, president Franklin Roosevelt came up with a deal!
- the deal consisted of programs such as the CCC, the NRA, and the SEC.
- he also created the balanced budget and eventually the economy was restored.
