- Peleus and Thetis are getting married and they decided not to invite Eriswho was the goddess of discord
- Bribing
- Eris decided that she would come anyways because she was angry that she wasn’t invited and she also came to make some trouble. When she was at the wedding she threw a golden apple on the table and the letters inscribed on it were "To the Fairest".
- Aphrodite's bribe
- Athena,Aphrodite and Hera then started arguing over who should have the golden apple but they couldn't agree on it together.
- Paris and Helen
- The argument went on for years and years so they decided to ask Paris who was the Fairest, so they all bribed him with something

- Paris decided to choose Aphrodite's bribe because it was that he could marry the most beautiful girl in the world ( Helen ). But the problem was that Helen was already married to Maluses but she didn't like him very much he was too old.

- So then Paris sailed over to Helen and they ran away together and sailed of
