- Homework: What is Cell Theory
- Theodore Schwan makes the discovery that all animals have cells (1800s)
- I just discovered that animals have cells!
- I just discovered that all plants have cells!
- Matthias Schleiden discovers all plants have cells (1800s)
- Theodore Schwan sends mail to multiple biologists working in his field of science, including Matthias (1800s)
- Dear Matthias and 5 other biologists working in my field of science, lets get together and figure out more about cells.
- Theodore and Matthias work on making a cell theory. Another scientist, Rudolph Virchow (not pictured) was also in the process of making the cell theory with the other two men (Matthias and Theodore). He used research to help settle a debate that was going on between Matthias and Theodore. Robert Remack was the rightful owner of this research, but it was stolen by Rudolph (1800s).
