- Augustus restored morale and lead two centuries of peace and prosperity.
- Augustus had many social reforms, won numerous military victories, and allowed religion, literature, etc to flourish. He ruled for 56 years.
- Money issues, high taxes, poor became poorer, army wasn't paid enough, no defense in the empire, no solid emperor.
