Storyboard Text

  • I have been warned that my grandson will kill me, hide here for my sake.
  • Akrisos read a phrophasy that informed that that his grandson will attempt to murder him.
  • Zeus had turned into gold to sneak into the room that Danae was in and they had a son.
  • We will name him Perseus.
  • Akrisos found out about the baby and sent Danae and the baby off into the ocean which is how they ended up in Seriphos with a fisherman who invited them to live with him.
  • Bring me the head of Medusa!!
  • The king of Seriphos heard about Danae and wanted her to himself so he sent Perseus on a mission to capture Medusa's head to get rid of him.
  • After a long journey, Athena came and told Perseus that he needed to get 3 gifts from the Nymphs and he did this by tricking the Grey Sisters and stealing their eye. The gifts were a pair of winged boots, a helmet of death, a magic bag, and a sword. He then set off to find Medusa and get her head.
  • On his journey back home, Perseus saved a princes from a sea monster by turning it into stone with Medusa's head. Perseus then married the princess and a year later they arrived back in Seriphos. This is where Perseus presented the head of Medusa to the king of Seriphos which turned him to stone, and later returned to his birthplace, with his mother, where his grandfather was killed by Perseus in a discus competition.
