  • Oh my God! Mom, what happened to them? Dad! Bro! Please wake up! Huhuhu
  • I don't know! I really don't know! Huhu
  • I don't want to see this! So cruel! This is like what was being discussed by our professor about the Black Plague.
  • As I was saying my dear students, the flea who lived on the rats will bring diseases to humans. Once an infected flea bit you, you would get the Black Death.
  • The Black Death, also known as Bubonic Plague was considered as one of the most wrecking pandemic in human history. It killed and wiped out the 30-60% of European population at that time.
  • It first came to Europe when rats hopped and got onto the ships that sailed from the Black Sea.
  • The Black Death began to spread to Crimea in 1343, and most likely originated from Central Asia. It travelled via the silk road and spread quickly.
  • When the rats died the fleas looked for a new home- a person!! Medieval people didn't wash very often so they were very dirty and tended to have fleas and spread quickly to the other parts of Asia and Europe.
  • As a result, many people in Asia were unexplainably sick. Rats developed the disease first then fleas spread it to humans.
  • Black Plague? What? It's just a nightmare, okay? Don't worry too much.
  • Why are you shouting? What happened?
  • WAAAAAAH! Thank God it's just a dream. It feels true. Black Plague is very disastrous Mom! It killed so many people!
  • The disease was spread from Asia to Europe due to many trade routes that both continents had with each other. Many people on the ships have carried the plague as well as the rats that infected the collars of the ships.
  • Because of this, many families were affected by the plague as well as its death count. Even the healers can't do anything to prevent it from spreading. Their way of life were also changed. They isolated themselves, as well as their families and friends to be able to survive. Also, economic downfall was happened during that time.
  • Hence, the Black Death had the most negative impacts on human lives, or any events that is similar to it. Just like the Covid-19 virus that killed many lives nowadays. We are currently experiencing hardships because of this pandemic. We have to obey the health protocols to be safe from the virus.
