Storyboard Text

  • Hello little scientist! This is the Respiratory system. Let me show you around it and what happens
  • Up here is where it starts. The nose, mouth, and a part called the Nasal Cavity. When breathing in air passes through the Nasal Cavity and travels down the Epiglottis.
  • This tube isn't actually one tube. It consists of the epiglottis, larynx, trachea, and bronchus. They all work together to let air travel to the lungs.
  • Right there in the lungs gases or more known as oxygen and carbon dioxide are exchanged.
  • Now the process happens again but the opposite. Instead of breathing in oxygen you are breathing out carbon dioxide. You do the process again.
  • Well that's the bell. Thanks for reading.
