The sorting hat
Storyboard Text
- At the beginning of the chapter, the new students are received at the castle door by Professor McGonagall, who tells them that they will soon be selected. All Hogwarts students live in one of four residences: Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw or Slytherin.
- It was Harry's turn to wear the hat. After a mental argument with the hat in which he tries to suggest Slytherin to him, the hat places Harry in Gryffindor.
- Harry was happy to find that Ron and Hermione have joined him in Gryffindor, and they will be finally together. Everyone was celebrating and throwing hats in the air
- Everyone sits down for a big party at the beginning of the year. Harry was surprised at the variety of delicious food served, he was sure he wasn't going to be able to eat all that, but be hungry was something he wouldn't be
- After the dinner, Dumbledore gets up to give his welcoming home. He tell some warnings about staying away from the Forbidden Forest and avoiding the third floor corridor on the right side of the school. Everyone sings the school song and goes home.
- At the end of this chapter, Harry was on the staircase to their bedroom Harry soon fell asleep, but had a very bad dream where a voice told him that he should move to the Slytherin house.
