Storyboard Text

  • This scene, which I took some liberties in creating when it came to the dialogue, shows the "enlightened/inspiring" tone by having the main character speak as though he has been enlightened in regards to the beauty of nature by comparing nature to heaven itself, which he does in the story.
  • Oh what a beatiful day this was! Nature is as close to heaven as one mortal may ever be! Solitude is necessary to truly understand this beauty!
  • In this frame we can see that the point of view is from the first person, and from the narrator. I showed this by the repeated use of the word "I."
  • I believe that the beauty of the horizon lies in the surroundings: the fields, the flowers, the intertwining of nature! Other men are blind to this beauty as they have lost their sense of wonder but I see with my soul as much as my eyes!
  • The point of the text is to point out the beauty of nature and all that one can see and feel from nature. In the text, the narrator says that he is able to see the beauty of nature in a way that many other adults cannot. To see nature fully can only be done by a child, and the narrator makes the claim that he sees as a child, showing his connection iwht his inner child..
  • To see nature such as this is to be in touch with heaven and the soul, it makes me feel like a child taking in the whole big world when I look out and see the endless beauty that is the world and the horizon.
