The story of Superhero Starlight
Storyboard Text
- One day Starlight went to the cemetery to visit her dead Mum, just like the hundreds of other people who's family died from the worldwide virus.
- "I just hate how many people have died as a result of this pandemic; I wish they were all still alive, especially my mother."
- Starlight made the decision to return home. But it began to rain almost immediately, the sky darkened, and the thunder grew increasingly loud. A bolt of lightning struck her directly in the face. She felt an immediate jolt across her entire body, and everything went numb.
- Instead of the lightning killing her she developed radioactive superpowers. She had transformed into a superhero, her attire had changed completely, her arms and hands had increased in size, she was at least a foot taller, she wore large boots, and she had the fighting spirit to take on anything.....
- She used gamma rays, the most powerful radioactive particle, to help sick people like myself survive by exposing them to radiation. She also used alpha rays to attack cancer cells in order to treat several types of cancer. Alpha radiation is a type of radiation that is used to treat a variety of cancers.
- I also used beta rays to cure eye and bone cancer. The beta particles are high-energy, fast-moving electrons expelled from the nucleus by some radionuclides during beta-decay.
- I'm so glad I can now help people survive using my radiation powers. That's all I wished for after my Mother died. I hope to now save all different people on earth everyday!
