  • San Francisco, USA
  • Kyoto, Japan
  • Great Wall of China, China
  • On my way to the airport, I crossed the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco! This is one of the most popular bridges in the USA, breaking world records in 1937 ( year of construction) for being 1.7 miles long! One of the unique things about this bridge is the right lane driving technique that America uses, compared to driving on the left lane elsewhere.
  • Giza, Egypt
  • I took the plane from California and landed in Japan! The entrance city of kyoto was holding a festival for theHatsumode to Fushimi Inari Shrine, one of the first buddha shrines to visit at the new year. It was made in the heian period (794-1185).
  • Rome, Italy
  • Next, I took a flight to China, where I walked the great wall. I learned that it was built for more than 1800 years, and stretches 13,000 miles. Thats half the length of the equator! There were rest stops spread throughout the wall, so I stopped and grabbed a drink of hot water! Its a regular custom for people in China to normally drink hot water.
  • Peru, South America
  • My next stop was the Great Sphinx of Giza, that was built around 2575-2465 BCE. Egypt is known for its ancient advancements in education, with some ancient versions of math and the 365-day calender originating in Egypt.
  • After that, another ancient structure. The collesuem in Ancient Rome is the largest ancient ampitheatre still standing, and was constructed in 70AD. Rome is well known for its ancient advancements in art, literature and architecture, opposite of the math based Egypt.
  • On my trip back home, I stopped at the last place, being Machu Picchu in Peru. It is the most visited location in Peru, as it was the symbol for the Incan Empire. It was built in 1450 and abandoned in 1572.
