- 'But soft! what light through yonder light breaks? it is the east and Juliet is the sun.'
- 'O Romeo, Romeo! wherefore art thou Romeo? deny father and refuse thy name or if thou wilt not be but sworn my love and i'll never be a Capulet.'
- 'I take thee at thy word: Call me but love, and I'll be baptis'd: Henceforth I never will be Romeo.'
- What man art thou that thus bescreen'd in night so stumblest on my counsel?
- 'Do not swear at all; or if thou wilt, swear by thy gracious self, Which is the god of my idolatry, and I'll believe thee'
- Romeo hides in the bushes and soon persevered Juliet walking onto the balcony outside her room. when Juliet realized it was him she reminded him that he could be put to death if he is found because he is a Montague. he tells her that he would risk death to see her
- 'By love who first did prompt me to inquire; he lent me counsel and I lent him eyes.'
- 'How did you find me?'
- Juliet admits to blushing but challenges whether or not he loves his genuine. After all they only just met at the Capulet party she also doesn't want Romeo she is quickly won or easy to get least he may later devalue her or think of her as chap she didn't intend for Romeo to overhear how she felt about him and is now a little embarrassing
- 'Because I love I have to go before anyone catches me I'll see back here again tomorrow.'
- 'Oh romeo I must admit you have made me blush but how do I know your feelings for me are real? We just met.'
- Romeo frightened Juliet as he jumped out of his hiding place revealing that he has been eavesdropping on her private spoken thoughts. he swears to take her at her word and be called something else other than Romeo if that's what it takes to win her heart runs back into the darkness leaving Juliet feeling loved and happy hoping to see him again
- 'What shall I swear by?'
