Storyboard Text

  • The women's rights movement of Saudi Arabia is much like that of the women's right movement in the United states. Specifically the suffragists.
  • Like the women of the United States, Saudi Arabian women were very oppressed by the male counterparts for years. Both groups of women were committed to ending this oppression.
  • The law enforcement also has detained multiple groups of activists in hopes of silencing their ideas. In both cases, this did not stop the women from protesting for their cause
  • Both groups of women spent years spreading their ideas throughout the country, and in both cases, these ideas were not seen as conventional ideas. Many men and some women believed that their countries should remain the way that they were. Fortunately, this did not stop their efforts.
  • Finally, after a long time of protesting and putting their lives out on the line, both groups of women were able to make significant changes in their country that has and will change the way that women in both countries live. Future generations will benefit tremendously.
  • Thank you so much. I hope you enjoyed!
