  • Now here is a quiz for you my dear friend. You were here for the last lesson right? From what I explained today, try and connect it to TPE 1 standard we learned yesterday.
  • Well, when it comes to TPE 1, that standard revolves around the engagement and support of all in learning. Naturally, the UDL works hand in hand with the TPE 1 standard as they both seek the best for all students' learning.
  • Lets hear some specifics then. Go into more detail.
  • Well, TPE 1 element #1 stated that one would apply all sorts of knowledge of students whether it be social and emotional learning needs or cultural, language and socioeconomic backgrounds. This is the crux of UDL, as one would cater to these aspects to get the most out of a good learning experience for students.
  • Not only that, but TPE 1 element #4 directly mentions the principles of UDL as they both concern themselves in a variety of developmentally and ability appropriate instructional strategies. resources, and assistive technology.
  • Quite impressive. Full marks for you on that quiz!
  • Diving deep into students' areas of growth sure does sound helpful though, not only in the ease of teaching since we can pinpoint needs with much more ease, but also in that student's learning since there won't be much in their way.
  • For sure, it is all about figuring out the best way to learn afterall!
  • Thanks for giving me the run up on the lesson for today Toan! Next time you need something, hit me up! See you tomorrow!
  • No problem. See you too, if you don't end up oversleeping again!
