- It's Esau, your firstborn. I have done as you told me. Sit up and eat this so you can give me your blessing.
- Its you! Come here, my son, and kiss me. *Issac proceeds to bless him*
- My father, please sit up and eat some of my meal, so that you may give me your blessing.

- Who was it then that hunted me food and I blessed him right before you came. He will indeed be blessed.
- Isn't he rightly names Jacob? I can't believe this, first he takes my birthright then my blessing. I am going to kill him. Bless me too my father.

- Rebekah hears about how mad Esau is. Esau is waiting for Issac's mourning days to be over so he can plan to kill Jacob. Rebekah tells Jacon it's not safe for him to stay and that he should flee to Haran with Uncle Laban.
