- Is a guy who works every day in a job in San Fransisco and on Saturdays likes to sile on his little silborad. One day he sailed too far and the wind pushed the sailboard out. But that night a small british brig saw him and took hin in the boat. So he worked as a sailor in the board in the trip to London. Once there he had nothing. So in the street he saw an apple and wanted to eat it but there was many people in there and when he was going to pick it one man take me to a house and i meet two gentelman who made a bet

- The bet was because the two gentelman had an argument beacuse the bank of England issued two banknotes of a millon pounds each for a public trnsactionwith a foreing country. England used the note and the other remainded on the bank. So one said that if an intelligent stranger arrives in London without nothing exept for the 1,000,000 banknote he will starve to death, and the oter disagreed. So they made a bet and gave to the man the banknote with a letter. He went to eat something and th people who worcked there confused hin as a rich man

- After he went to the gentelman's house thinkin all was a mistake but they're were not here. So when he left the house, he saw the letter that the thwo genteman gave to him and he read it. In there they examplain the bet, but there wasn't anything else.

- One day that he passed in front Taylor's, he walked in and ascked for the cheapest clothes that they had in in the store so one gentelman give it to hin. At the time to pay he ascked if they had change for the banknote. They hadn't so as a apolagise they made a lot of clothes for him andhe would pay any other day
- The man keept buying everything he wanted without pay anything with the banknote. He eated everyday in Harri's and became famous in the city. He was living a rich life but just until the bet wasn't ended. After a few day days in London e went to visit the American Ambassador and he invited him to a party that same evening
- There where fourteen people at the dinner party. And a young lady named Portia with he fell in love, and she too. In there he takced with an work mate for a while and at time of dinner there was no dinner, so they palyed some "games" and he and Portia confessed their love and they spent the night talking and knowing each other, even he confessed abut the bet and told her all the story, she only laughted.
