  • The geography of Rome. It is located in Italy. It is rocky and they have alot of water around them so they can travel and trade. The land is described to look like a boot.
  • Etruscan Influence of Sports on the Romans
  • The myth of Romulus and Remus. The wolf finds them floating in the water and saves them and raised them for a period of time. Then a man finds them when they are grown up and they help his village. Then Romulus kills Remus.
  • Greek Influence of Architecture on the Roman Cvilization
  • Etruscan influenced Rome by creating the arch way. The romans used this idea and incorperated it into there culture. Etruscan also influenced Rome with the idea of the cuniculus a underground irrigation system.

  • The romans adopted chariot races into there culture. They would race around the colusum. The romans would also have fights in the colusum with swords and shields. They would fight to the death.
  • The romans were inspired by the Greeks architecture. They copied using colums making statues, and the arch way. They had there own version of the Parathon. They made the colusum which was a big achievement.
  • The Romans copied the Greeks beliefs. They took the gods the Greeks belived in and changed there names. The romans learned pottery, painting and sculpture. The romans wrote in only lower case letters. The romans also altered Etruscan and the Greeks alphabet.
