- This act drew an imaginary line across this land so colonists would stop trespassing but colonists would ignore this line imposed by government half way through.

- sugar and stamp act- british raised taxes on sugar, stamps and other goods to pay for the french and indian war. this act hurts and makes colonists very angry.

- British soldiers fired on an angry crowd or colonists after they threw things at them and screamed in anger. Soldiers panicked and and fired into the crowd. five people were killed including Crispus Attacks, a free black sailor who is considered to be the first to die in american revolution. This event would strike outrage throughout the colonies.
- A large group of colonists dressed as Mohawk Native Americans, they rushed to the harbor, borded the ships and dumped 342 crates of tea into the harbor. this event would be known as the Boston Tea Party.
