- I don't know what I am even here. I don't know anyone at Timberlake Camp.
- It seems all the kids know each other already. Do I just go up and say hi? No that would be too weird.
- It's already lunch time and I still haven't talked to anyone. Maybe this isn't going to be my year at Timberlake Camp
- Hey Hey! My name is Alex, I saw you earlier and I wanted to know if you were enjoying camp so far?
- No! I hate it! Everyone seems to know each other and this is my first year! I want to go home!
- I am so sorry you feel that way. I know how it feels to b the "new kid " at camp. I had the same problem you did when I was your age. It was hard for me to make friends at Timberlake. Everyone seemed to know each other so it was hard for me to make friends until my old general counselor helped me. He took on this mentoring job making him my "big brother" for the summer.
- But I don't have a "big bother"
- Never fear! I will be your big brother is summer at Timberlake Summer Camp! I will be able to guide you to learn to make friends and take on new challenges. I am here to make sure you have an incredible summer while creating unforgettable memories!
