- After a someone from Okonkwo's tribe was killed, Okonkwo decided to go to their village and when he got there the people were scared of him so they gave Okonkwo a young boy and a virgin girl. - conflict is character to character
- It was the week of peace and Okonkwo found out that his youngest wife was not home to make him us dinner, so he beat her up when she got home. - character to character
- Okonkwo had gotten his gun to go hunting but his second wife, beaten by Okonkwo previously provoked him by saying that Okonkwo was not experienced with guns.What his second wife said triggered him and so he shot her but missed. - character to character
- Okonkwo and the towns people had received an oracle to kill Ikemefuna, the son Okonkwo brought from the other village. The people of the tribe and Okonkwo brought Ikemefuna into a forest saying that they were planning to take him to see his mom but killed him there instead.- character to character - character to fate/destiny
