Grendel was raged because of the loud noise of the Danes. Grendel arrives at Herot, mercilessly attack and killing the Geats.
Upon Beowulf's arrival, King Hrothgar welcomes Beowulf soon after Wulfgar has escorted him to Herot. King Hrothgar was thankful because beofwulf was brave enough to help them.
Beowulf decided to fight Gren with his barehands, Beowulf fights and rips off Grendel's arm- who flees and later dies in his lonely cave.
Grendel's mother attacks Herot and retrieves Grendel's arm- which was held as a trophy by Beowulf- and flees to an underwater cave. Beowulf follows her and soon kills her by using a magic sword forged by giants, which is the only weapon able to defeat her.
King Hrothgar shows his gratitude to Beowulf by inviting him to her daughter's - which is Freawaru - wedding to Ingeld - a young lord of the Heathobards -
50 years later...Beowulf has to defend his people by killing a fire-breathing dragon. Beowulf along with the help of Wiglaf successfully kills the dragon. Despite this, Beowulf later dies by a wound on his neck caused by the same dragon.
