All ten characters are invited by Mr.Owen to go somewhere. So they get on the boat and head to a place called soldier Island. They all see a huge mansion waiting for their arrival.

The first victim that ends up dead is a man named Anthony Marston. Anthony died from drinking his drink that ended up being poison. The other guest realize that Marston poured the drinks, so they all assume that it was suicide.

Mr. Rogers was the 4th to die. He died cutting up some wood for the fire. He was then struck in the back of the head with an axe.
The 6th person to die was Lawrence Wargrave. Everyone was looking for him and he wasn't able to be found until Armstrong found him in the drawing room. He was killed by being shot in the forehead.

Vera Claythorne then kills herself because she is the last one alive. She kind of went crazy because no one was left. She started saying the "Soldier Boy" nursery rhyme.
