  • The settlers arrived and found frontier a very difficult place to live.
  • The native Indians and Settlers met in the 16th centenary.

  • The Settlers made towns and roads which cleared the land of native plantings, they also hunted and killed the bison to near extinction.
  • The native Indians had a rough time trying to start fresh in the reservation.Their population drops by over 60% due to disease brought in by the settlers.
