- Hi! I live in the Indus Valley , this is the Indus river and I am a Shudra, a laborer. It is monsoon season let me show you how we prepare.
- Oh no! It´s raining already. Can you see our houses elevated? We build them like that so the elevation of the water level won´t reach us.
- This seasonal winds are called monsoons they happen all over India. FromOctober to February, winter monsoons from the northeast blow dry air westward across the country. Then, from the middle of June through October, the winds shift.
- This is my sister she is sad because we won´t have food to eat because our crops have flooded. We have nothing to sell either, this is going to be a rough season.
- I have so much hunger but the little amount we croped is for the Kshatriyas
- And here is where Kshatriyas lives, they are rulers and warriors. They were lucky that they were born in this life
