Storyboard Text

  • To be honest, I hardly liked it, although it caught my attention that the man always wanted to emphasize that he was not crazy. However, he murders the old man and the main reason is his eye. I believe that a mentally healthy person would never do this.
  • And did you like "The Tell-Tale Heart"?
  • And after the arrival of the policemen, he finally confesses the crime because he cannot stop hearing sounds, which he interprets to be the heartbeat of the old man.
  • He imagines this since it is impossible that they were of the old man because he really was dead. This shows that he really was crazy.
  • That's right. He really was mad.
  • And finally, what do you think about "The Black Cat"?
  • With this story, I felt chills and terror. It is a totally disturbing story but somehow the narration fascinated me as it traps us and keeps us in suspense while the narrator tells the atrocities that he commits throughout the story.
  • Something that I must mention so well is that I would have liked is that the man at some point in the end of the story, had felt guilt or pain for the way he killed his wife, however, he was marred in his hate and disgust towards the cat, he only worries about the whereabouts of the cat to also kill it..
  • Yes, it is a story very cruel.
  • With pleasure, I know that you like these stories.
  • Thank you very much, teacher, for recommending these stories to me.
