- Maybe she doesn't remember that I like him, I did tell her a while ago.
- I wish Sarah wouldn't do this, she knows Abbey likes him...
- James is so hot!
- Hey Sarah, would you maybe wanna grab ice cream together sometime?
- Yeah!!
- Guys, guess what? I ran into James at the library and he asked me out!

- Poor Abbey, shes going to be crushed...I have to go talk to her
- Oh my gosh, that's great!
- You're kidding right? My best friend is going out with the guy I've liked for two years now. UGH
- Yay!!!
- Mille, Abbey, and Sarah. The three have been best friends since they were 8. Today, they are all hanging out together at Sarah's house, a normal occurrence for the trio.
- How are you feeling Abbey? I know this whole thing with James and Sarah must be hard for you...do you want to talk about it?
- Thanks for asking, it means a lot. And yeah, I am kinda having a hard time. I mean I told Sarah I liked him two years ago!! Shouldn't one of my best friends respect that?
- She did not just say that. Sarah is a bad friend to Abbey!!
- The next day, Sarah sees James at the library her heart begins to flutter. She goes up to him and the two talk.
- Sarah, I really don't like that you are going out with James. You know that I have liked him for two years and you didn't even talk to me about this. You just assumed I was okay.
- This isn't about you Abbey, plus it doesn't matter anyway. James likes me- Not you.
- After talking to James, Sarah's first thought is to call her best friends and tell them the news. Although they both act happy for her, Abbey feels a bit betrayed, and Millie's mind immediately goes to how Abbey will feel about this.
- Maybe it's time we pull back a little bit with Sarah. You know she's caused issues before. Plus, what she just did to you is not okay. That was a horrible thing to do to a so-called friend.

- I just can't believe she would say something like that to me, especially after how long we've been friends.
- Millie invites Abbey over to her house to talk about this. While they're talking Abbey admits that her feelings are hurt and that she feels betrayed by Sarah. Millie listens to every word Abbey has to say.
- Sarah begins to tell Millie and Abbey all the details of her date, eventually, Abbey stands up for herself.

- After that, Mille and Abbey left Sarah's house and came to talk. They decided that after all Sarah had done, they were better off not being best friends with her anymore. They realized that a friend is someone who is by your side no matter what, someone who can tell you the hard stuff and whose advice you trust. Millie was a true friend to Abbey because she listen to Abbey and understood her. She also revealed how oppressive Sarah was when she couldn’t see for herself.
