- Early in the morning, all of the leaders met together to make their plans. They put Jesus in chains and gave him to the governor, Pontius Pilate.

- Pilate was amazed that Jesus still wouldn't say anything!

- Each year, Pilate could set free one prisoner. The crowds wanted the bad man, Barrabus, to be set free instead of Jesus.

- The soldiers took Jesus to the courtyard to make fun of him and hit him.
- Oh wow, King of the Jews, we worship you!
