Storyboard Description
This shows one of the main characters, Camino Rios, waiting for her father to arrive for his annual trip to the Dominican Republic. What she doesn't know is that 30 minutes after his departure from NY, his plane crashed leaving no survivors. As she grieves, she decides to find out more about her father and finds out that he has another daughter, she has a sister! After this happens, we bounce over to NY where we are introduced to our second main character, Yahaira Rios, she is at school enjoying her normal day when she is suddenly called to the office. Once she gets there she learns of the news about her father and is in shock but is determined to help her grieving mother.

- Your father's plane crashed, there were no survivors...I'm sorry, Yahaira. You are excused for the rest of the day.
