- Miranda never saw another man besides her father her entire life so seeing Ferdinand for the first time she instantly fell in love with him.
- Another man?! He is so handsome!
- I've never seen a woman as beautiful as her.
- Ferdinand soon remembers his father's drowning soon telling the two when the ship sank into the tempestuous sea leaving him as the only survivor of the shipwreck. Miranda felt pity for the young man.
- Despite the tragic event that happened to Ferdinand, Prospero accuses him of being a spy and threatened to imprison him while Miranda was moved to tears by the lack of sympathy from her father.
- Father!
- You're a spy who came to steal this island!
- Little does Miranda and Ferdinand know that her father was just testing the young man making sure he will value her, treat her with respect, and doesn't think she was an easy catch.
- Father oh please father spear him!
- But even being threatened to be imprisoned, all Ferdinand asks for from Prospero is to see Miranda from his jail cell once a day.
- May I be able to gaze upon Mirada once a day from my cell?
- In the end, Ferdinand wasn't imprisoned but was made a slave for the time being to serve Miranda and he wouldn't want it any other way
