- Ancient Mesopotamian farmers grew crops on their field so they could trade them at ziggurats . growing crops wasn't always easy for them ; some days could have too much rain and another is too hot so farmers have a hard job. but the farmers had an easy advantage for water because Mesopotamia was right in the middle of tigris and Euphrates river so they had lots of freashwater.
- us farmers use river water to plant or crops!
- MANGO! 1 shekel for 5 piece! MANGO!
- the people of ancient Mesopotamia believed building a big structure (that is actually empty) that the called a ziggurat , made them feel close to their gods. Ziggurats were made designed as houses for the gods. the people gave "offerings" by burning food to the sky to please their gods.
- what? I know I should have saved more but it looked sooo good!
- one of ancient mesopotamia biggest achievements was the alphabet .the alphabet helped with communication and writing for example the laws needed the alphabet to exist first. the laws were called Hammurabis code. without Hammurabis code Mesopotamia would be less safe.
- now we can put the laws everywhere! thank gosh for the alphabet
