- After Spain fought in the napoleonic wars, they went straight into debt.They would go on to colonize Mexico to pay these debts through loans,And taxes of sorts.
- The Execution Of Hidalgo
- As shown above, there is the Mexican Army led by criole priest Miguel Hidalgo.
- Mexico's Independence
- VIVA MEXICOOOOO!
- Hidalgo and the rebels fought back at Spanish soldiers while chanting their special chant dedicated too Guadalupe.
- Sadly, after losing the battle of Calderon and trying to flee north,Hidalgo was captured and executed by the Spanish Army.
- on September 27th 1821 General Agustin de Turbide, upperclass creoles, and rebel leaders would go on to drive the Spanish out of Mexico and gain their independence!
