- Members of the National Assembly met at the royal tennis court because they disagreed in the Estates General. They swore they wouldn't leave until the demands were met. Finally King Louis XVI finally gave in and wrote a constitution for France

- The Storming of the Bastille was an event that occurred when revolutionaries stormed and seized control of the the Bastille. At the time, the Bastille represented royal authority in the center of Paris.

- A huge event of the French Revolution was the conviction and execution of Louis XVI. His trial took place on January 21, 1793. They convicted him by a unanimous decision and he was sentenced to death by guillotine.
- MarieAntoinette's trial began on October 14, 1793. He was convicted with high treason and was sentenced to death by guillotine.
