- StrategyThe British were going to divide and conquer into the Hudson river valley right into Albany. They were going to try and take over New York because it was one of the main cities.
- What Happened During the Battle of Saratoga?After defeat the continental army killed the British in the battle of saratoga, the continental army decimated the British army and then they surrendered after getting killed.
- We are the best.
- We beat the british so now we can win this war.
- FailuresThe British failures were that all their supply routes got invaded and got shot so the british couldn't make it all the way to New York and they started battle because all there supply routes got shot up by the continental army.
- I am the greatest leader of all time and Im the best.
- ImpactThe American victory in the Battles of Saratoga helped persuade the French to recognize American independence and to openly provide military assistance. It also increased Gates's popularity—so much so that he was being considered to replace George Washington as commander-in-chief of the Continental Army.
- EffectThe Battle of Saratoga was a turning point in the Revolutionary War. The American defeat of the superior British army lifted patriot morale, furthered the hope for independence, and helped to secure the foreign support needed to win the war.
