- Brian is in the cockpit flying to Canada to see his dad. The pilot was being nice and taught Brian how to steer and fly the plane. They were doing fine when all of a sudden the pilot had a heart attack. Brian took control of the plane and kept flying.

- Brian tries to talk to the people who can listen to him on a transmitter. The radio gets all static-like and quickly cuts out. They were flying smoothly until Brian couldn't control it any longer. The plane starts to dive and Brian leads it to a safe place.
- Chapter 5
- Brian started to look for a body of water to land in. He saw none until he spotted an L-shaped lake. Brian quickly flew the plane into the water. He thought it would be a safe place to land.
- Chapter 6
- Brian survived the crashhe got out of the plane safely. Sadly, he was feeling so much pain. Nothing was broken, it was bruised. Once he got to the shore, he started to think of the secret. The one about his mom and another man.
- Brian was so thirsty. He went to the lake and took a big swallow of water and threw up later. Then he started to think about when will people find him. Remembering this, he thought of everything he had on him at this moment. Then he felt hungry.
- Brian started to look for a shelter to stay in. He wanted to stay by the lake because if a plane flew over and saw the one in the lake, he would have a better chance of being found. After thinking about that he started to look for food. He was really hungry. Brian found some nice berries and grabbed a whole bunch. he munched on all of them so fast and then they were gone.
