- This is a Ziggurat. Ziggurats were at the center of town in 3,500 BCE.

- Mesopotamia was in between two rivers, the Tigris and the Euphrates. This area was known as the Fertile Crescent.
- 3,000 BCE
- New Military causedbattles against other city states.
- 2,300 BCE
- Sargon 1st brought all the city states together under one law.
- 1,700 BCE
- Archeologists found Gilgamesh, the first ever written story recorded.
