- THE MONKEY AND THE TURTLE
- One day, monkey walks along in the river bank, looking very sad and exhausted. Turtle notice that monkey looked so sadHow are you?” asked the turtle. The monkey replied “Oh my friend I am very hungry, our bananas was steal by a man and I am about to die, don't have any food”. “Don't loose hope, follow me and we will find some banana plants” turtle said.
- So they walked along together until they found some nice plants which they dug up, and then they looked for a place to set them. Finally the monkey climbed a tree and planted his in it, but as the turtle could not climb he dug a hole in the ground and set his there.
- Few weeks later they went back to the place to see their plants, the plant of monkey was dead while the turtle was tall and bearing fruitThe monkey climbed the tree of turtle to get some food “Please give some food to eat” said the poor turtle on the ground, but the monkey the throw him only the green one and he just ate all the ripe one's himself.
- The turtle got angry of what monkey did so he decided to plan a punishment towards the monkey, he gathered some sharp bamboo which he put under the monkey while sleeping and exclaimed “ Crocodile is coming! Crocodile is coming!”
- The monkey woke up and startled then felt upon the sharp bamboo and was killed. One another saw what happened and got angry
