  • This image uses the visual literacy techniques of layout, colour and frame.Layout: Background - fence and trees. Middle ground - house and dad (painter). Foreground - mum and baby (me) to stand out. Colour - Flowers are bright red and vibrant representing happiness and new life.Frame - Corners to make it look like a photograph from the past.

In this case the jobs I might want to do when I'm older.Symbolism: The lightbulb is a symbol to show ideas for the future.Shape: The buildings have sharp pointed shapes to make the scence look futuristic.

  • This picture uses colour, frame and symbols.Colour: The red is representing a rosy time - happiness.Frame: The frame is the border of the ipad to make the quote stand out.Symbols: The smiley face is showing a good time and the arrow is directing you to the time period.

Shape/Texture: Jagged lines to show scary times.Frame: The blackboard is the frame used to draw attention to the word bullying.Light/Shade: Dark atmosphere making the place look uneasy and the light of the lightning bolts are stiking me with pain.
