- The witches are under the rain with thunder and lightning and they make plans too meet with macbeth once the battle was over.
- Act 1 Scene 7
- Macbeth and Banquo come across the three witches. The witches tell macbeth that he will be the thane of Cawdor and then eventually king
- Act 2 Scene 2
- Lady Macbeth thinks to herself that she knows that macbeth is ambitious, but she fears that macbeth is too kind to do what needs to be done to making himself king.
- Act 2 Scene 4
- Macbeth is hesitant to killing Duncan, Lady Macbeth convinces him by questioning his manhood and by implicitly comparing his willingness to carry through his intention of killing duncan.
- After Macbeth returns from killing Duncan, Lady macbeth getts his mind off the murder and sees that he has the guards daggers with him, she then taks the daggers back and goes to plants the daggers back at the scene of the crime.
- Macbeth then frames the chamberlain's to being "most likely" the killers and then says that they could have been paid by someone to kill duncan.
