- Hi! I'm Clarisse.
- Hello! I'm Guy Monatg.

- Montag, books are burned to keep peace.
- Guy Montag meets his 17 year old neighbor Clarisse McClellan, who tells him numerous things that make him think. Clarisse asks him questions and deducts that he is unhappy.
- Shame on you!!
- He's just joking guys. I promise!
- I don't know why i'm crying!
- Montag sees an old woman burn along with her house and books, which makes him question just how lawful his job is. Montag steals one of the old woman's book, even though he knows that he isn't supposed to have them.
- It happening to me! My house is the one being burned !😭
- Montag's boss, Chief Beatty, finds out that Montag has taken a book and goes to his house. Beatty attempts to tell Montag the reason why firefighters burn and why it is right.
- Mildred, Montag's wife, has her friends over to watch her family on T.V. Montag then reads her friends poetry causing one of her friends to break into tears and the other one to feel disgusted. Mildred tries to convince her friends that this was something firefighters do but, her friends leave while threatening to tell on Monatg!
- Montag is ordered to burn his home and then himself. After burning his house He uses the fire hose against Beatty, killing him. Montag then knocks out the other two firefighters and runs away down the river so that he can meet with a group of people who feel the same way about books.
