- Viola and her twin Sebastian’s ship is shipwrecked and Viola is washed to shore thinking her brother is dead, meanwhile Duke Orsino is in anguish as his love, Olivia had just had her brother die and will not see anyone for 7 years.
- Scene 4
- Trying to find work, Viola dresses as a boy, Cesario and goes to Duke Orsino, wanting work. Cesario soon becomes his favourite paige and he asked him to see his love, Olivia to convince her into marrying him ending in Olivia liking Cesario.
- Scene 5
- Is it you Sebastian?
- Meanwhile Sebastian is washed ashore and taken in by a kind man named Antonio. Back at the palace, Malvolio is in love with Olivia also and after getting on the wrong side of some others, is tricked into thinking that a forged letter of love is from Olivia.
- Scene 6
- Will you marry me?
- He then dresses up in bright yellowing tights and performs a very strange dance to Olivia, who thinks he is insane. He is then locked up and taken away. Then Sir Andrew, who is also in love with Olivia challenges Cesario to a dual. Antonio mistakes Cesario for Sebastian and saves him from the dual.
- I love you Olivia!
- Sir Andrew and Sir Toby mistake Sebastian for Cesario and being to battle, with Sebastian wounding both men, until Olivia comes in and stops them thinking it is Cesario. she then marries him. Finally Viola and Sebastian meet again.
- Olivia..?
- After Olivia and sebastian‘s marriage and Duke finding out that Cesario is actually Viola, he proclaims his love for her and they stay with Olivia and Sebastian until they get married.
