- The Man Jack Kills Bods Parents
- Bod Lives in graveyard
- Bod meets Silas
- The Man Jack Broke Into Bod's house and killed his parents. After that, he was ready to kill but thankfully Bod escaped.
- Bod finds a friend
- Bod ends up in the graveyard and lives there. He is adopted by Mr. and Mrs Owens and his guardian Silas who also lives in the graveyard.
- Miss Lepescu saves Bod
- Silas Is bods guardian he looks after bod through the whole book.
- Bod leaves graveyard
- Bod meets a new friend called Scarlette they become friends through most of the book and a very close.
- The ghouls were very happy to have Bod they wanted to kill him but thankfully for Miss Lepescu she saves him.
- After a long time in the graveyard Bod decides to leave.
