- No one taught me. I learned how to do it by myself
- Maybe Athena, the queen of the air, taught you?
- Athena and Arachne have a weaving competition to see who is the best weaver.
- Arachne lost the competition and is not allowed to weave again. Without being able to weave she claims she can never be happy again.
- I cannot free you from your bargain, but I can give you a new form. With your new from you can continue to weave.
- Athena transforms Arachne into a spider so she can be happy and continue to weave. Now all spiders are considered be the children of Arachne.
