- The Erie Canal was created to transport goods and people, it was man made and a boat would’ve had to be pulled by a horse before the existence of the steamboat.
- After the invention of the steamboat by Fulton and Livingston, it revolutionized the US traveling faster.
- A turnpike was basically a fee that was paid for using the road , this way the road would be clean and in good condition . Look at the example above.
- A corduroy road was a road that was made out of logs.
