Daniel and the Lions den

- Urgh, we have tried everything but the kind still favours Daniel over us.
- You're my favourite official Daniel, and I find favour in you
- "Okay fine I guess. If it means that everyone has to worship me, I'm in."
- "We think that anyone who prays to anyone or anything, except for you for the next 30 days shall be thrown in with the lions."
- Our Father in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come thy will be done

- Daniel was the kings most trusted official. This made the other officials jealous for they wanted to be the most favoured offical.
- Oh no what have I done now. My most trustworthy man is gone now.
- Yes, he's finally gone. There's no way his god can save him now
- So they thought of a plan to get rid of Daniel. They knew that we worshiped God and no one else, so they made a degree that said "If anyone prays or worships anything except for the king then they will be put to death on the lions den. The kind agreed to the law and it was put in place.
- God has saved me from the mouth of lions, he can save me from anything
- Daniel was devoted to his God and no law was going to stop him from saying his daily prayers. He continued to pray and eventually got caught by the other officals.
- Thank you you majesty.
- We shall worship your God now as he is obviously more powerful than I or any other god
- The king was disappointed in himself for letting Daniel die. The other officials were greatly pleased in themselves as now they would be the favoured officals.
- But little did they know that God was protecting Daniel throughout the whole night. In the morning the king went to check if Daniel was alive and sure enough he was. The other officials who made the law were thrown into the lions den.
