- Dr. Shepherd: her levels are way too low. IS that a flower in her stomach???
- Dr. Grey: the patient's oxygen levels are decreasing. CO2 is taking over Mrs. Burke's body.
- Dr. Grey: Photosynthesis is a process in plants so they get glucose for food. Humans don't produce food, and take in O2 and release CO2.
- These flowers are autotrophs. They produce food using photosynthesis. they take in CO2 and release O2.
- Dr. Grey, we cannot forget to explain what Cellular respiration is.
- When Glucose is broken down, glycosis allows it to be made into ATP.The energy from ATP allows photosynthesis to occur by bonding with oxygen to produce energy.

- we may never think of it, but all of this keeps us alive. Photosynthesis allows O2 to release which is vital to humans.
- Dr. Grey, when the patient was stuck for a long time, there were no autotrophs to allow the exchange of CO2 and O2.
- wow... all autotrophs including these flowers have a purpose in our lives.
- so all those flowers that are in this field are taking in our carbon dioxide? And we take in oxygen molecules they exhale?
